The ultimate purpose of software engineering is to successfully manage software projects. Besides a solid technical background (processes, metrics, models...), managerial skills are the key factor (for the project manager as well as all the team members) to the success of software projects and, therefore, the focus of this course. The course helps to improve the managerial skills by putting students in a real world setting of a software project team through a simulation model.
